Have you confirmed that it is the transmission that is at fault. What is the idling speed. Erratic or excessive low idling can result in engine stalling when shifted into gear.

To KHLow2008 I looking around the internet to see what it is I came across the vSS sensor can stall a vehicle I don't know it's the problem or not but when I took off the drive shaft the shaft in the transmission has some play in it I don't know if it supposed to be any play in it as soon reconnect the drive shaft it went in reverse and backup no problem but as soon I put in drive it started to run rough and it stall out I restarted the truck it dies out when put in gear I don't know if there any electrical parts is causing this or not but it is wired when I removed the drive shaft and put it on it went without stalling

The CEL might not indicate for all codes. Some are stored without the CEL turning on.
Disconnecting the VSS is going to cause you other problems. The shifting might be eratic.
