1994 Ford Falcon Transmission

Hi there,
I have a ED falcon automatic with problems with transmission it goes through the gears no worries but I cant seem to manually change into lower gears when I shift it into lower gears nothing happens and also the power and economy button does not work .Hope someone can help

What speed are you attempting to down shift manually, if road speed it to high the transmission will not down shift manually to protect from over speeding, check that the ECO button is working and the indicator light is ok, all this does is to alter the shift pattern of the box.
