Low oil pressure on guage

I have a 1994 Ford f150 4x4 with a 5.0 eng. The oil pressure guage is now showing low. The oil when checked is fine on the stick. It normaly was in about the half way mark on the guage in the truck

Anytime you have a low oil pressure reading it's best to hook up a mechanical gauge to check. It can be a bad gauge in your truck or a bad seniding unit as well as a bad oil filter. Or low oil.
