94 acura integra manual 5speed if the car is off it let me select any gears but when is on I cant select any the I cant push in to first or any if I select 1st and star the car it will go whit out me let the clutch go if I select 2nd it will have squiki noise but it will let me shift to 5th but then it wont let me shift down

If you have good pedal pressure and you can't select gears with the engine running I feel that the clutch is due for replacement, how high up is the clutch when drive takes off? If it is almost at the top. (Foot off) the clutch is badly worn.
