is it possible for a leak to come back up through the top of the cap of the of the reservoir.the other problem is I see no trace of brake fluid below the master cylinder or brake reservoir. I have been filling the reservoir every 3 days of use..where could the fluid be going?

If you're losing brake fluid and there's no external leak in sight, loosen the mounting bolts for the master cylinder and pull it forward. If it's wet back there, the rear seal is leaking and the fluid is being sucked into the engine and burned.
