Ok. I was drivjng. Jeep was running great. Then died. Had it towed home. Checked saw we have spark. Coil is good. We have fuel at the rail. And timing marks line up. And we have great compression. No cel light. We changed coil. Cap and button. Wires and plugs. We also tried starting fluid in the tb and still nothing so we no its not a fuel problem. Could it be the crank or cam sensor if we have spark. We are all lost. We were told if we have spark then it's not the cam or crank sensor. Is this true.
Yes, if the crank sensor has failed then there would be no spark.
Is there an aftermarket alarm system installed in the vehicle?
When the engine died did is stumble and stall or did the engine suddenly stop?
How did you check the timing marks?
