1993 GMC Sierra Clutch problem

I was driving up a large hill and went to shift down and had no clutch, it was completely loose, managed to get it back into 4th gear, once I got to the bottom of the hill and back into town I pulled over and the clutch was working fine again. Any suggestions?

Hydraulic clutches have brake fluid and the fluid will get hot. When that happens, it will boil and the system is all air.

Try changing the fluid and use dot 5 fluid.
