1993 GMC Sierra Blinkers/ brake lights

I have a 1993 gmc sierra and when I turn the blinker on it works fine but when I push the brake while the blinker is on it will flash really fast and make the other blinker turn on and flash fast, it does it to both sides and I don't know whats wrong.

I'd have to check turn signal/emergency flasher and wiring circuits. Usually the lower brake lites are wired through the turn signal switch. You may need to check voltage and ground circuits.
