I have a 1993 Geo Metro and am having problems with the turn signals. I have replaced the fuse 7 times in less than a week. I am not sure what the problem is or where it can be. Can you please help find the problem?

I have changed the fuses and they keep blowing out. When I change the fuse and start to drive the fuse will blow and then the turn signals and reverse lights will not work as well. But when the fuse is put in the turn signals work and so do the reverse lights, just when I start to drive they stop working. Please Help.

A simple trick to finding a short is to replace the blown fuse with a pair of spade terminals, then use small jumper wires to connect them to a 12 volt light bulb. A brake light bulb works well. When the circuit is live and the short is present, the bulb will be full brightness and hot so be sure it's not laying on the carpet or against a plastic door panel. Now you can unplug electrical connectors and move things around to see what makes the short go away. When it does, the bulb will get dim or go out.
