Ok so I've got a 1993 ford escort and I'm having major issues with it. Whenever the engine is warm or is starting to warm up and I come to a stop light or slow down the engine starts to chug and die on me. So I've cleaned the MAF, thottle plate, fuel injectors (ran special cleaner through the tank) replaced the air filter, IAC, spark plugs, the wires, the ecu (I ended up putting the original ecu back in that came with the car because the other ecu ran an egr system whereas my vehicle did not), and finally the battery. Could you possibly help me out here? I'm at my wits end with the car. I would buy a new one but I'm currently a university student so I have very little money that I have to use for gas. I would appreciate it so much if you could help me out here!

Scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge first auto parts rent it.

The ecu doesn't hold codes at all so there isn't any way I could get a code depicting what the problem is. I'll try checking the fuel pressure though. What should the pressure be at if it's good?
