I'm hoping you can help me? I have a 1992 oldsmobile royal 88. Had to replace the magnet on cam gear. Now it runs better but not better. I'm getting a code 44 lean exhaust? My spark plugs to the fire wall a not right. I tryed to put them where they go no dice. Could the timing be off and if so can I time it

Inspect and test the oxygen sensor and make sure the firing order is correct-also recheck the valve and ignition timing

You say it runs better, but not better, I don't understand? Is it better?

What is wrong with the spark plugs on the backside of engine? With dis ignition, the ignition timing isn't adjustable. The valve timing could be off?

Use a gage and check fuel pressure.
