The ute is a 1992 Mazda bravo B2600 and while it is running it goes great but then all of a sudden it will just lose power. Some times it will start again but if you put your foot on the gas it will only idol at around 2000rpm go over or under that and it wants to die. At other times it will not start at all, but sometimes after it is left for about 15 minutes it starts and goes well untill it decides to go no more. It is fairly random with the above. It has new plugs and new leads. Could this be a fuel problem or an electrical problem causing a fuel problem. Ie injectors.

It could be a fuel issue. What I need you to do is check for spark and fuel when it doesn't start. One will be missing. I need to know which it is.

If you need directions, refer to the "do it yourself" section on our home page. The only thing you will need is a fuel pressure gauge. Most parts stores will lend or rent them to you.

Let me know what you find.

AFTERTHOUGHT: Under the hood is a fuse / relay block. Open it and look for the EEC relay. The items are listed on the underside of the cover. When it doesn't start, switch the relay with a different one from the box with the same part number to see if it starts then.
