1991 Toyota Camry no compression

I had a friend check out my camry and he said that if the timing chain or (belt) was skipping teeth that it would cause the pistions to not get any compression he said that it looked like it was just spinning 2 of them were not getting any compression and 1 was getting very little could you help

THis is a belt driven engine, if the belt has failed you will have bent engine valves and the head will have to come off and be over hauled, pull the front engine covers off and check for a failed belt, it may not be broken it may have stripped teeth of it as well.

Not on Camry, Camry don't bent valves if belt is broken or skipped.

Depending on what engine, very early engines were ok, the later were interference engines.
