this car has a history of shutting off .Would start back up until recently. replaced fuel pump, fuel filter. plugs, wires ,pvc valve, fuel pressure regulator. Now it starts, idle for 5 seconds and stops. after a couple trys it puffs back through the intake manifold. when doing fuel pressure regulator, put new intake gaskets and new erg valve gasket. when inspecting egr valve the port on the intake was clogged. used a small screwdriver to punch through. what do you think?

Compression should not be lower than 100psi in any of the cylinders. Also, the lowest cylinder should not be lower than 70% of the highest. If it is, you will experience a miss or rough idle.
