Workin on a 91 chevy half ton. New motor. Truck was running fine, then just died one day. Have replaced the fuel pump, truck turns over fine, but wont start on its own. If you spray starting fluid, or dump some gas in it, it will start and run until the fuel burns out. Anyone got any ideas? Also, it has one of those weird half fuel injected half carbureted deals on it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

It sounds like the fuel pump relay is no good, can you hear the pump working in the tank when you turn the key on? If not here is the relay location and a guide to help us see what's going on.
