Problem with 4wd in 1991 chevy k1500
when I engaged my 4wd the front axle locks up and it feels like my brakes are on. My e brake is not engaged. I dont know much but would like to know whats going on with it.

If you are on pavement, it is normal for there to be resistance when turning. Other than that, you need to check to make sure the differential wasn't changed with the wrong gear ratio.
