1990 Nissan Truck Just Bought This Used Farm You Oil Filter Part Store Gave

just bought this used truck for the farm. if you look up what oil filter it can use at the part store it gave me a fram filter but it doesn't fit. it cross referenced with an stp which was on it and the numbers were right and I double checked to make sure. why doesn't the fram fit?

It may just be a faulty filter or the book you used was incorrect, if you have a filter that works, you have no problem.
