Van automatic transmission issues

I start the car in the morning it works fine for 15 minutes or so then it gets stuck in second gear what go back to first will go into third I can start and stop stays in second. I shut the key off started again it works fine for 10 minutes or so then it does the same thing shut the ignition off started up works fine through all the gears for about 10 minutes or so. What do you think?
