1989 Nissan Hardbody 89 Z24 Engine Runs Perfect Except Cuts Out Around 3000rpm

I have an 89 nissan hardbody with the z24 engine. It runs perfect except it cuts out at around 3000rpm and sounds exactly like a rev limiter. Ive checked everything i can think of and i have no idea how to fix it?

What are the everything you can think of?
Did you check the fuel pressure and supply?
Did you check for trouble codes?
