My car is stalling out and falling on its face while driving. When I shift it in to neutral I have to rev it up and here lately it has been stalling and not wanting to stay running (like its starving for fuel) then all of the sudden it will pick up fine. If I shut it off for about 15 minutes or so (like it resets itself) it will be fine for about 10 minutes and start all over again. It has a new fuel pump, filter, and tps. I thought it was the tps and I switched it out and it is still doing the same thing as before just worse. Another problem I have had with it is the heating the car ran 220 degrees for about a year and I couldnt figure it out, so I had a radiator specially made (3 row) with a new 160 degree thermostat and on my way back from arizona it ran 220 to 240 degrees all the way back to ohio. I would have to get it up to a 100 mph and shift in neutral to manually cool the car down. I got home put a new coolant temp. Sensor in it and it still runs up to 220. Usually the falling on its face happens right around when it gets up to 220. So I dont know if that has something to do with it or not. Its got right under 190,000 miles on it. When you first start it, it blows blue smoke but just when it starts it doesnt burn it, not sure if that plays a factor in it or not but its more info. Oh and the injectors im guessing are original they look kinda melted on the back side of them. I did a complete tune up on it two years ago (plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor button, o2 sensor, oil change, all the filters in the breather, and pvc valve) The car is completely bone stock still has all the smog and emissions stuff on it. Im lost at this point and quite confused, please help me out? Thanks for your time. Tim.
