1988 Nissan Truck Dimmer Switch

I have a 1988 Nissan truck and recently the lights have been turning on at night by itself. If I don't unplug the battery before I park it this causes that battery to die. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Its caused by your turn signal switch going bad my pick up does it regurly. The olny way to permantly correct it is to get a new signal light switch assembly. On the other hand to temporarly fix it when you get out of your pickup after youve shut it off just put your left or right signal on and it should keep your lights from turning on it work for mine anyways.
