1.6 new fuel pump, correct pressure(both in line and at end positions) good sharp spark from plugs. Souns like it wants to start for justa second, but does'nt. If I use starting fluid will fire and dies after fliuid run out, then sounds like it wants to fire on restart, but doesn't. So my question is: if it starts with starting fluid and fuel pressure is correct, what is my next step/check?

Using what is called a noid light, check to see if the injectors are getting power. Even if you have proper fuel pressure, it won't run if the injectors are not working properly. To me it sounds like that is the problem.

Let me know what you find.

Thanks. I don't have the noid light tester. I was reading engine cranks but wont start. Step 7 states if I disconnect an injector and test with a test light, only 1 side should illuminate/. After I disconnected the injector, and probed both side in the connector, both sides illuminated. So now what does that mean? Thanks for your help.

I don't know why, but this just showed up in my mail. Sorry it has been so long. Have you had any luck with the issue?
