Car starts with gas to floor .Runs rough like timing has jumped ,back fires in intake, spark knocks,driven it with no problems an it just died jumped it an it started but rough like said an only stays running with gas pedal to yhe floor

There are a few psosisbilities. I think the most outstanding problem is the backfire. It is the best palace to start. I am giving you a link to a diagnostic walk through for this situation which should at least start you on diagnosing the problem.
