I have a 1987 Honda Civic which I was driving on the freeway doing 60mph when it acted like it wanted to die so I gave it gas and sped up a bit then it just died. It hasn't started since. It only fires once when you first try to start it and its an orange fire. I have checked and replaced the the coil and rotor.

Can you give me any insight on where to go from here. The car has 185000 miles on it.

Check if the distributor rotor is turning, it could be a broken timing belt.
