Hello my 1986 Nissan d21 2.4L 4wd truck had a bad speedometer cable. I replaced it and now the speedometer rises quickly then once it hits 55 starts to rise normally. What do I do?

did yopupt lube in the cable housing before putting cable in? Also there may be a pieceo fcable housing broken holding back the cable alot of times you need to dirllinside the case to get those out normally at bottomor top. it could also be a speedo prpoblem
