I have an 86 chev s10 4x4. When I engage the four wheel drive, my truck seems like it has a flat on the passenger side front by wobbleing at about 15+ mph. When I take a corner in the truck with four wheel drive engaged, it makes a noise like some thing is binding. What is wrong?

2nd question: I hear it is not good to drive in four wheel drive. This sounds false to me, is it true?

Check to see oif one of your axle boots aretorn or ripped. If you see grease around it then your axle needs another. It kind of sounds like your wheel bearing or axle shaft joint is worn out. It's safe to drive in 4 wheel drive. I wouldn't on the highway all the time due to the fuel mileage
