1998 Chevrolet S-10 4WD not working

I have 4x4 s10 and it's not engaging or doing anything. I checked fuse that I knew was 4wd fuse and it's good. The switch to put in 4 hi or 4lo and back to 2wd doesn't light up. So I order new switch still nothing I'm pretty sure it's electrical problem maybe tccm but not a mechanic need some help thanks

Scan for codes first. Might be the encoder motor on tcase

I brought to oreillys the only code I had was O2 sensor nothing else

Then check to see if encoder motor is getting power or not it may not be working. Otherwise a pro may need to scan it encoder motor is a high failure item but dont' buy it unless you are sure it's not working
