1994 Chevy S-10 4 x 4 dont work

my 4x4 does not work. I replaced the push button on the dash and it still doesnt work. The light on the push button lights up in 2 hi. It does nothing when i push the 4 hi or low. Sometimes the light goes out when i try the button.

Hi well to try to answer your question if you replaced the 4wd switch in the truck and the light stays on only in 2wd then the solenoid on the transfer case is bad its not switching back from 4wd to 2wd. Hope this will help you in any way.
