I would replace the fuel filter. I did a little research on this for you. I was thinking that the brake booster may be robbing power and your alternater not being able to keep up, but we'll look at that after you change the fuel filter. That's an old car, classic but old. If you haven't done the fuel filer in a while it's good to anyway. Also, with the ethanol theyre putting into cars these days, your fuel tank is shedding all of its deposits into the filter so that don't last as long anymore. Be sure to relieve pressure from the fuel rail so you don't get a fuel shower.
