1985 Mustang 5.0 cfi question

Hello, I have a 1985 mustang lx convertible 5.0 cfi and there is a noise coming from under the air filter and by the egr valve, it seems to be a humming noise and I was wondering if you could help me out? Thanks in advance. Also my model car does not have idle air control it has throttle kicker" vacuum actuated setup for dashpot and idle control. Again thank you in advance.

Check PCV they can cause a hum/buzz attached is vacuum diagram if noise is vacuum related may help in finding source.

The noise goes away when I take off the air filter

Got the pcv done and it is still making that noise. What would be the next idea?

Ynless you can make positive ID on noise not much I can do over the computer
