1983 Nissan Truck Removed Transmission Datsun Which Very Tight Fitted Difficult

Removed transmission from 1983 nissan datsun truck which was very tight fitted and difficult. Trying to replace rebuilt transmission and cannot get it back in. If I had only 1/2", it would slip right in! Any suggestions? Thanks!

you will need to remove anything obstructing it from going in
