I have a 1983 s10blazer the electric locking tailgate has a yellow wire where do I hook this wire

This is either the stop wire that hoks to an actuator that turns the electric motor off that moves the glass when it is fully closed.
Look for a switch near the area where the two pains of glass meet when closed.
