Hi,
I have a 351c boarded out to a 427 in my mustang. When I was driving it and slowed down the car would shut off. It did this 3 times and each time I was able to get it started but it would shut off once I slowed down or stopped. The battery is at 85% full so I know its not the battery. I do have an MSD ignition system so I'm wondering if that could be the issue. Could you give your opinion on what it might be?
Thanks
Dell

Could be a fuel problem as well. Give a complete description of what you havenot just bored out to a 427. Is carb?Injected? And look in your msd manual if you have it or online and recheck the work.

Thanks. It does have a carburetor. I did put some carb cleaner in the gas a little while ago. Could that cause the issue?

I kind of doubt it although if there is a lot of alcohol in the fuel it may. I'd lean towards more of to low an idle something like that.
