Chevy 327, 300 hp with Holley 650 cfm spread-bore carb. Car very seldom driven and I generally have to prime the carb with gas to get it to start after sitting for awhile. After the initial start it will start easily without the priming. Once started and when I am mildly accelerating the engine feels like it is running on 7 cylinders. Replaced spark plugs, plug wires, points, rotor, ignition cap. Old plugs were uniform in color, no significant oil or carbon deposits.

Check the fuel pressure if its within specs and also the choke opening and fast idle cam adjustment-could also be the acclerator pump, main metering and power valve of the carb-

Thanks. Forgot to include that I rebuilt the carb about 6 months ago. I followed the directions carefully so hopefully all the internal parts are working correctly. I was leaning towards fuel starvation since the car sits so much. I thought the fuel line may have some gunk built up in it (I also changed the fuel filter when I did the other tuneup work). I'll check fuel pressure later this week when the weather warms up a bit and get back to you.
