It is the bank one catalytic converter that is off the passenger side exhaust manifold.

It may have only one depending on the engine.
This is why you need to call them. There are three 4.0 v6 motors.

I called them and they said if all I am trying to do is get it to pass smog then sale it a universal should work wielded on. Is this true?

Yep, but it will last maybe a couple of months and then it will turn the light back on.
If that is what you want, then yes you will have to replace it again very shortly after your smog to get the light out.

As I told you before, yes, but it will not last and has no warranty. You will be having the same issue with the 420 again very soon.
