When transmission is shifted into any gear the car does not move

Drove my vehicle listed above and parked it. the following day I tend to start it for taken out, the engine starts the gear was put on drive mode, but I was surprised the car could not move even on reverse. I guess something is wrong, but I can't figure out, as anyone experienced this too and any idea on what I can do to fix the issue. Thanks

Good morning,

The first thing I would do is check the fluid level to be sure it is not low not allowing the transmission to work.

Run the engine until it is warm, then check the fluid. If the level is okay, I would change the fluid and filter to see if the filter is clogged.

If that does not work, then it is internal in the transmission.
