ABS light is on due to a faulty ABS module, is it worth fixing?

My ABS light is on due to a faulty ABS module. The cost to replace it is $1,200. My oil dip stick stuck in place, but they were able to get it out but found out the tube is cracked to repair it will be $565. I’m 74 and I’m wondering if it’s worth fixing. My only alternative is to sell it and just share my wife’s car. We are both busy with family and my fishing.

That is up to you, look a the truck and what it would mean to you if you didn't have it, here is how to change the ABS module out so you can see what needs to be done. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
