Good morning,
The sensor will not cause this at all. All the sensor does is send a signal to the ECM for vacuum. The sensor did its job.
Can you hear any hissing around the brake pedal or outside at the booster? It sounds like the booster is the issue and that will cause the engine to stall as well.

Power Brake Booster Bolt (1) Â Loosen [2x]

Brake Pedal (1) Â Disconnect

With the aid of an assistant, hold the power brake booster away from the dash panel and pull the brake pedal rearward to disconnect the brake pedal retainer from the power brake booster pushrod.
Brake Pedal Retainer (1) Â Remove and DISCARD
