I recently rebuilt the engine. The truck won’t start i crank it and it backfires. It flooded the spark plugs so I replaced them with new spark plugs, new wires cap and rotor and distributor and still backfires and won’t start. The timing is correct I have spark fuel and compression.

Non starting and backfiring sounds like the distributor rotor came loose. I would remove the cap to confirm the problem. Please go over this guide as well:

Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.
