I bought this vehicle listed above (Sportage) cheap. I changed the crank sensor, timing belt, cam sensor, fuel pump, relays for everything yet it still will not start. There is a light on the instrument panel that says hold. What does hold mean ? And what may be wrong other then what has already been covered?

Hi,

Was the belt replaced because it was broken? Is this a dual overhead cam 2.0L engine? Let me know. If it was broken and you have the DOHC, it is an interference engine and there could be internal damage

As far as the no start, are you getting spark and fuel to the engine? Take a look at this link and let me know if it helps:

If you could, record it cranking and upload it for me to hear. I can usually tell if it is a compression or timing issue.

Let me know.
