Will not start

Hi,

First, confirm that the battery terminals are clean and tight. Also, make sure the grounds to the engine and body from the battery are clean and tight.

Next, check to see if the starter is getting power to the S terminal on the solenoid. That will be the smaller wire. Here is a link to help:

If there is no power to the S terminal, then check if the starter relay is bad. I attached two pics below to help you locate it.

Here is a link which explains how to test a relay. If there is another relay in the box with the same part number, switch the two to see if it makes a difference.

Start with these things and let me know what you find. Since everything is new and you hear a click, I suspect it is going to be a connection issue. However, you need to check these things first. There is also a fusible link that can be bad, but we need these things done first.
