Will not start, headlights will not turn off?

Won't start full battery. The headlights stay on even though the switch is off, it thinks the keys are still in when they are not. This happened after car alarm went off.

Did the alarm go off by itself or did someone try to break in? This problem happens when the TIPM (totally interrogated power module) goes out which is common here is the location of the unit which is just behind the battery and is easy to replace because it-self learns. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
