It starts up fine after a while of sitting. Over an hour or so. The problem is, after I drive it for a while. I go to shut it off and try to start it. Then it won't start. It cranks over and acts like it wants to start. But nothing. Before I start replacing stuff, I wanted to get some advice.

Thank you

This is typical when the fuel pump heat soaks it will not build pressure as it should. To be sure when it won't start, we can do a fuel pressure test which you can rent a gauge from the auto parts store for free or cheap. Here is a guide to help walk you through the steps and instructions on how to test your vehicle in the images below.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator

At idling: .................... Approximately 350 kPa (3.57 kg/cm2, 51 psi)

Also, I have included how to change the fuel pump out as well. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what you find.
