Will not start after running out of fuel

The bakie ran out of fuel so I refueled and after refueling the bakie wont start. Please help.

Hey CORSAMAD,

From what i can see there is a gas/petrol vehicle?

I would advise trying turning the ignition on and leaving it on for around 30 seconds, turn the ignition off and then repeat this cycles 4-5 times. Then attempt to start.

This may allow the system to prime enough to get it to start.

While you have the ignition on get someone to listen at the fuel filler, can they hear the fuel pump running? There should be a buzzing coming from the fuel tank that marks the pump operating.

No buzzing indicates a pump issue.

If the pump is running but it will not start i would say you potentially have a blocked fuel filter
