Lights flickered and the car did not crank over?

Lights flickered and the car didn't start, but all dash lights stayed on. Battery is only 2 weeks old.

I would check the battery cable terminals at the battery, make sure the key system is off and wear protective eyewear and gloves.

Please go over the ground connection as well and look for corrosion. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
