While driving oil light came on, then everything went out

Was driving, oil light came on. I stopped and checked the oil and it was fine, continued on. When I was turning the corner everything went out, no power, no lights.
tried to start ran so rough and shut off again.
towed in back to my house now it won't even turn over.

It sounds like the battery is shorting out. but to be sure here is a guide to help load test the battery:
