This could be a problem with your Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP). When your vehicle's CKP goes bad your engine will not start. This is because your vehicle's Power-train Control MODULE (PCM) uses the signal generated by CKP to determine where the engine is in it's cycle. Without this information the PCM cannot send spark and fuel injector signals to make the engine run.
I have included exploded diagrams and step by step instructions on how to test your vehicle's CKP in the diagrams below. The test calls for the use of a multi-meter, and I have included a link down below on how to use one if you are not familiar with how to use one.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-a-voltmeter

Now in the instructions they call for the use of a yellow test lead. The yellow test lead is really the red one for reference.

Thanks,
Alex

I agree with SCWICKEDSTANG that you could have a faulty crank sensor. Very common problem. If you have a scan tool that reads data then only view the RPM signal. You should see an RPM signal when the engine is cranking. If no RPM then look at the crank sensor. If you have an RPM signal then we need to dig a little deeper. Let us know please.
