Transmission will not shift into drive

I can go into reverse. But can't go into drive at all...

Hi:

Have you checked to make sure the transmission fluid is clean and full? Also, did this happen all at once or were there other things that may have indicated something was happening? Have you tried having diagnostic trouble codes pulled which can identify the cause? One last thing, confirm that the shift indicator on the dash shows the letter D when you place it in drive.
