While driving the battery light came on and it started losing speed and motor was running fast. When I got it home and turned it off it wouldn't start. A friend said it was alternator and I bought one and the same problem is still happening. Even tried new battery. Don't know what to do.

Good morning,

Does the engine crank over?

Do you have a voltmeter to do some checks?

You can get one at a parts store. You need to check the battery voltage.

Then you need to check it with the engine running.

Let me know when you a meter so we can check it.
