Won't start or run unless I spray gas directly into engine start and shuts off.

Hi,

Based on your description, either you have a faulty fuel pump, or you have lost an injection pulse.

Can you hear the fuel pump actuate for a couple of seconds when you first turn the key on? If you can, test fuel pressure. If we have pressure, then the injectors don't get a pulse. If there is no pressure, check fuses and relays. If they are good, the pump is likely bad.,

Here is a link that explains how to test fuel pressure:

Do this and let me know the results. Also, let me know if you have other questions or if I can help in any way.

Take care,

Joe
